Over the last three weeks, Not For Sale Academy graduates have participated in two independent trafficking rings being brought to justice!
The certified Academy grads implemented what they had learned at the Academy to both identify and collaborate in the cases -- two core pillars of the Academy. These Academy grads worked closely with law enforcement... and the result was the emancipation of eight individuals.
Through the Academy, we are seeing real-world impact on the issue of human trafficking -- and the difference that is made when individuals engage as "smart activists" in the modern-day Abolitionist movement.

Participate in the Not For Sale Academy at SoulFest 2010
The Not For Sale three-day Academy at SoulFest will explore how our purchasing patterns and the complexity of the global market perpetuate slave labor in our supply chains. You'll gain an understanding of the causes of labor trafficking, both globally and in your own backyards.
